Obituary from July 25, 2000
Tonia Michelle Bryant was born on April 8, 1971 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the first born child of Eric Smith and Louise Smith-Collins. She departed this life July 19, 200, after a fatal car accident.
She was baptized at the Temple Church of Christ at the age of 5. Both sets of grandparents and one cousin, Jack, preceded her in death.
Tonia attended school in the Normandy and Ferguson -Florissant School Districts. She received her Associate's degree in Office Administration in 1991.
Tonia married Mark Bryant on September 25, 1999. The shared a wonderful courtship of 8 years. Even though their marriage was short and sweet, it was filled with many memories to last a lifetime.
Tonia was employed at MCI Worldcom for the past 3.5 years.
She loved to travel, shop and decorate. Tonia and Mark traveled to numerous cities in the United States and abroad. She and Mark recently bought a house and Tonia turned it into a beautiful showplace with the use of the internet.
Tonia led a beautiful and fulfilling life with happiness shared by us all. We will remember the spark of life and the positive, daring approach that was inspired by our Tonia.
She leaves her adoring husband, Mark; a loving mother, Louise, father, Eric and step-father, Vincent, two sisters, Erica and Kimberly and one brother Derrick. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
