DAR SAR Black O'Kelleys

The Black O'Kelleys Honor to the
Daughters & Sons of the American Revolution and other distinguished societies.

Nikki W. Sebastian is our 1st O'Kelley family to become a member of the DAR. Through much research, DNA analysis and support of many, we were able to trace our lineage to Edward Barrett who fought in the American Revolution in which July 4th is in honor of.

Using Nikki's application number, the proof has already been established, so we all can become members of the DAR as well as the SAR by providing your vital records to Daniel, Will or Charles O'Kelley. We do not have any male family members indoctrinated but we strongly encourage you to join as well as more women. We deserve, and have a right, to claim our lineage for eternal recognition of patronage to America despite the chain of effects that got us here.

Our family tree to the Patriot for Nikki:
Nikki > Sylnice > Sylvester > Helen O’Kelley Smith Pickens > Daniel O’Kelley > James O’Kelley (white father with Ellen Fisher) > Leonora Barrett Kelly (James' mother, our white great...grandmother) > Edward M. Barrett, Jr. (Leonora's father) >

Edward Barrett (Leonora's grandfather, the Patriot) provided Services and Supplies in Support of the American Revolution. Nine Generations!
